Meet the Amity Team
- Xiomara Luna (Founder) - Care Coordinator
Xiomara began her journey as a caregiver and later became a CNA. Inspired by the need for more personal, 1-on-1 care, she founded Amity to provide the kind of compassionate support she wished existed for others. Today, she oversees caregiver training and compliance, ensuring each caregiver is equipped to serve with excellence.
- Ismael Luna (LVN) - Client Care Assessor
Ismael meets directly with clients and families to complete in-home assessments and create customized care plans. His personal approach ensures that every family’s unique needs are met with intention and care.
- Nathan Luna - Business Developer
Nathan ensures all departments at Amity are aligned toward one goal: delivering exceptional care while creating a workplace where employees feel positively impacted. He focuses on operations, growth, and quality assurance across every department.
Why We Started Amity
Amity Home Care was born from the heart of Xiomara, who began her journey as a server in an assisted living facility. Her natural compassion led her to become a caregiver, and eventually a Certified Nursing Assistant. One day, after helping a resident, the woman grabbed her hand and pleaded, “Please don’t go… you’re the only person I get to talk to all day.” That moment stayed with Xiomara—it was more than a job; it was a calling to bring connection and dignity to those who often feel forgotten.
That calling became personal when Ismael’s father began showing signs of dementia. In a confused state, he fell down a flight of stairs, leaving him injured and disoriented. Xiomara stepped in to care for him just like she had for her patients—lovingly and attentively. It was during that time that the vision for Amity came into focus: if their family needed this kind of compassionate care, other families surely did too.
In 2017, Amity Home Care was officially founded by Xiomara and Ismael. Today, Xiomara serves as the Care Coordinator and Ismael as the Client Care Assessor. Together, along with their son Nathan, they lead a family-run agency built on trust, personal connection, and the belief that every client deserves to be cared for like family.
